”The Runner” is what we’d call a trip through the Lalalover-universe. There’s touching lyrics, honey sweet melodies & lots of lots of groove.
After the sun-drenched, ‘Heliotropic’ this second album has greater intensity, it’s maybe even melancholic, but always hopeful.
“The Runner” is a collection of songs about life as it is: confusing, heartbreaking but alltogether just unpredictable enough to call it a blessing.
